We’re asking you to trust us with your tax details. Here’s exactly how we look after them, in plain English.

We never see your HMRC login

When you connect Relevy to HMRC, you sign in on HMRC’s own website. Your Government Gateway details go straight to them and never touch us. All we hold is the permission slip that lets us file on your behalf, and you can take that back any time.

Your details are encrypted

Your National Insurance number, your tax reference and the keys that connect you to HMRC are encrypted in our database. They’re scrambled at rest, so they can’t simply be read out of it.

Your records are walled off

Every customer’s data is kept completely separate. You only ever see your own customers, quotes, jobs, invoices and figures, and nobody else can reach them.

We never sell your data

We make money from one thing: your subscription when you file. We don’t sell your data, we don’t hand it to advertisers, and there are no ads in Relevy. Ever.

Where your data lives

Your data is hosted on secure servers in the European Economic Area. Card payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card number.
